In this document, I demonstrated my Bayesian workflow by using fractional polynomials to impute missing standard deviations before building a random-effects meta-analysis model with brms. I checked model stability by assessing convergence with MCMC trace plots and evaluating fit with posterior predictive checks. Finally, I conducted sensitivity analyses using alternative priors and MICE imputation , and compared my posterior distributions against a frequentist framework.
